Describe the feature

• Follow up to feat(Dropdown): deprecated old and promoted Next #8835, which mainly only updated import paths for components/examples using deprecated dropdown. This issue should cover updating any usage of the deprecated Dropdown with the new, default implementation (formerly Next)
• Promote the dropdown from beta
• Possibly update usage of composable menu based on chore(ApplicationLauncher): deprecate #8836 (comment)
