Hi, first of all, thank you so much for the improvements, both changes are great! I tested different things and found not a single problem and I therefore merged the pull request. I evaluated the following things: TestBackup path config:

i added a Backup Root to the General Settings so the Backup folder will be based on this configable Root (i keep mine at
~/reMarkable/backups) so i won't need to change it every timeThe Erazer gets Drawn as
whiteor in the selected Layer ColorSo i also Skip the erazer during rendering (as already done by the erazer_area)
