Please consider merging

There are other plugins and core functions doing similar tasks. We are trying hard at reducing duplication, as this will make it difficult for users to choose etc.
We would greatly appreciate if you could consider merging your work with one of the core functions (preferably Geometry checker), or with one of the plugins.

@pcav totally understand (this was originally an internal tool that needed to be used outside of our organisation) - I'll look into merging it into the core functions in QGIS 3 (I assume there's no point trying to backport it into QGIS 2 now?)
