Which operator(s) is this request for?
Why this matters
ARM-based infrastructure, including AWS Graviton, GKE ARM nodes, and Ampere, offers meaningful cost and performance advantages over x86, and adoption is accelerating across cloud-native environments. Without officially certified images and documented ARM support, organizations cannot confidently deploy Percona XtraDB Cluster on these platforms, forcing them to choose between cost optimization and database reliability guarantees. Certifying PXC, PXB, ProxySQL, and HAProxy for arm64 expands the operator's supported platform footprint, enabling teams to run production MySQL workloads on ARM with the same confidence they have on x86.
