and it returns - API Error: Extra usage is required for 1M context · enable extra usage at claude.ai/settings/usage, or use --model to switch to standard context

with claude pro subscribtion

Only the Max subscription can use 1M context with subsidized inference. If you want to use 1M context on the Pro subscription, you need extra usage enabled.
In the meantime, you can switch to the 200k context window here.

A fix for this was already implemented in #1556 (makes model/context options dynamic based on your plan), but it hasn't been included in the latest release yet.
