This starts to be one of my favorite tools for visually verifying LIDAR data.
One very useful feature for my application would be to be able to measure the local point density at different places in the point cloud.
Basically a clipping box of determined size (1m^2) that could be selected in orthographic view that counts the number of points inside it.
Even better would be if you could color the point cloud with an attribute "point density" so you could visually identify where a set point density threshold is achieved.
