Suggestion for how to merge the different proposals

We need to come up with suggestions for how to merge the different proposals. My impression is that @JeanLucPons proposal focuses on the hardware abstraction layer whereas @Sulimankhail proposal focuses on the experiment orchestration so I think it can be done.

I already have some ideas but I need more time to dig into the details of the proposals, think and try different options before I dare to suggest something.
