Per discussion here, the precommit hook is missing lots of type errors in
layouts. So I have addedlayoutsto the list of exceptions, in anticipation of that being improved - or anyway so that folk who run mypy locally don't get confused.But to compensate for that I've picked off a couple of simple errors, and consequently been able to remove a couple of exceptions from mypy.ini. The ratchet - very slowly - tightens.
