Call for Feedback: PyQASM

We’re excited to hear from the community and get your feedback on PyQASM. We’ve released initial versions of the tool, and while the progress has been substantial, we’re actively working toward a stable release with more features and improvements.

Your insights are invaluable to us. Please provide feedback on any of the following aspects:

1. Grammar Support

• Are there any OpenQASM constructs or features that you feel are missing or need improvement in PyQASM?
• Are there specific OpenQASM 2 or 3 features you’d like to see supported or better implemented?

2. User Experience

• How intuitive is PyQASM to use, both through the command line and programmatically?
• What features or improvements could enhance the user experience and make it more user-friendly?

3. Optimization and Transformations

• Do you have suggestions for additional optimizations to enhance performance or reduce circuit size?
• Are there specific transformations (like inlining or unrolling) that you think could be improved?

4. Codebase Organization

• Do you have thoughts on how we could improve the code structure for scalability, maintainability, or readability?
• Are there any specific patterns or best practices you think we should incorporate?
