Feature request: Backward compatibility reading .qs

Would be great if backward-compatibility with .qs format could be implemented.
Just tried to load a .qs file on a virtual machine where R > 4.5 was installed -- I could neither install the legacy package {qs} there, nor could {qs2} read the file. Deprecated file formats are a real deal-breaker when considering how to archive data.

Briefly, the deprecation was unavoidable due to changes in R and CRAN. Notice was available to users in the startup message for > 1 year before deprecation.

You can still install qs on R 4.5 using the CRAN archive but interoperability is not possible.
