This will take a lot of work to be ready, and will mostly focus on documentation and readability, such as keywoard arguments, variable names, type hints, and docstrings.
This also replaces the many individual workflows with just a single workflow that runs all the linters (black, isort, pylint, CRLF check, and now flake8)
