Highlight glitch if I press r followed by d

Neovim version 0.9

My git-messenger config:

g.git_messenger_popup_content_margins = 0
g.git_messenger_conceal_word_diff_marker = 0
g.git_messenger_floating_win_opts = {
  border = 'single',
}

How to reproduce:

1. Execute :GitMessenger
2. In the floating window, press r to open the window showing the word diff
3. Press r again to close the word diff window
4. Press d, then the highlights for diff stuff are failed
