A lightweight companion extension for HydraWatch
HydraTracker makes adding YouTube channels to HydraWatch effortless — no third-party tools required. Just visit any channel, click once, and you're done. Perfect for smooth, frictionless HydraWatch adoption.
HydraTracker is designed to complement HydraWatch, eliminating the need for third-party software to add channels, thereby making HydraWatch's adoption smoother. Unless you consider this project as a 3rd party software
- One-click channel capture directly from YouTube
- Add unlimited channels in a single browser session
- Instant CSV export (ready for HydraWatch import)

- Works on Chrome, Brave, Edge, Opera, and all Chromium-based browsers
- Download the repo as ZIP or clone it:

- Open your Chromium-based browser and go to the extensions page:
- Chrome/Brave/Edge →
chrome://extensions/.
- Chrome/Brave/Edge →
- Turn on Developer mode (top right toggle)
- Click Load unpacked → select the `HydraTracker's folder
✅ Done! The extension icon will appear next to your address bar.
- Go to any YouTube channel page
- Refresh the page (important, otherwise the extension cannot find it)
- Click the HydraTracker extension icon
- Click Capture Current Channel
- Repeat (1-4) for as many channels as you want (all stay until you close the browser)
- Click Save as CSV when you're ready
Your CSV is now ready to import into HydraWatch!
Accidentally captured the wrong channel?
- Nuke the whole list via Clear List to start fresh, or
- Export the CSV and simply delete the unwanted row in any spreadsheet app (Excel, Google Sheets, Notepad, text editor, etc.)
- Remove individual channels before export
