Description
The gradient on your header and footer make a harsh break between the background image and the start of the gradient. One possible solution is to make the background image cover the entire background of the page, and then use some partially transparent backgrounds on the header and footer to set them apart from the main content of the page. You can even use some gradients that have a transparency (http://www.colorzilla.com/gradient-editor/).
