Will try to test this works on Wayland in a couple of days or like so.

Would suggest to not touch this unless you know what you're doing otherwise we'd spend a lot of time on syncing how the impl should be done.

If you really want to rebase something old, I think this one #2429 is the most closest in terms of how it should be implemented, and I don't think basic stuff on how to integrate any of that got changed.
