docs obviously need updating https://docs.saltproject.io/en/latest/topics/development/conventions/release.html - likely these do not need to be part of the versioned salt docs, but could live in a distributed doc here: https://gitlab.com/saltstack/open/docs this link is likely to change, but currently this is where the pipeline lives for docs and other non-salt docs
