Mainly considering the use of uproot-browser for checking the contents of TTree and branches. I think a common way that search and jump to a specific branch for display would be fuzzy searching, similar to something like tool fzf. Not sure what the best way for specifying the match to looking into just a particular ROOT path would work best though.
