CLRS stands for Introduction to Algorithms, one of the most widely cited books in the field of computer science, with over 70,000 citations on Google Scholar as of 2024.
- First Edition: Published in 1990, known as "CLR" as it didn't include Clifford Stein as an author then. It had some content that was later dropped in the second edition.
- Second Edition: Released in 2001. With Clifford Stein added as an author, the book was called "CLRS".
- Third Edition: Published in 2009, with 1320 pages.
- Fourth Edition: Published in 2022. It added colors to improve visual presentations.
