The package organization of pytometry is already in quite a good shape, but I'd suggest to fully align it with cookiecutter-scverse for consistency with the other packages and to get the latest-greatest setups for linting and documentation.

EDIT: At this point, I'd probably also move the documentation to readthedocs. It has some useful features like PR builds and keeping different versions of the documentation and we use it basically everywhere else.

I can tell that I am happy with the netlify page and the package organization overall (that's my emotional attachment to the current state). I do understand your point on consistency and potentially easier maintenance.

@mbuttner I'm working with both structures (Lamin - although yours is outdated and scverse) and they are pretty similar. Since it got moved to scverse, I'd like to second @grst suggestion and in practice you will not notice a difference. It will look and behave very similar but make it easier for scverse developers to contribute.
