sole

sole is a GPU-accelerated macOS terminal focused on window workflows, smooth keyboard navigation, fuzzy search, and TUI-friendly input.

Install with Cargo

cargo install --git https://github.com/skepticfx/sole

Install with Homebrew

Install from the dedicated tap:

brew install skepticfx/tap/sole

This also installs Sole.app automatically so you can launch it from Applications/Launchpad. The installer prefers /Applications/Sole.app and falls back to ~/Applications/Sole.app.

macOS app bundle

If you installed with Cargo or want to refresh the app bundle manually:

sole --install-app
open "$HOME/Applications/Sole.app"
