argument order in auth callback

this is a pretty inane question but what's the rationale behind the argument order in the auth callback? seems like the authorized arg should be first since its required and error should be a second, optional argument.. what am i missing?

You are missing that the argument order of (err, ...) is, by convention, the default argument order for any node library callback. I guess that's basicaly it.
