Record process around communication

There is a record of Solid communication to facilitate co-creation and gather ideas on how to improve.

The current process details how website changes can be suggested and reviewed but lacks a record of other elements of communication such as the newsletter, social media, and the webinar.

Here I would like to invite suggestions around recording these elements of the process.

Here's a draft proposal for a record of the process around the Newsletter.

Newsletter

The official Solid newsletter is called This Month in Solid.

Newsletter drafts are created on next.md.

Anyone may submit a pull request to add contents to the newsletter draft.

The Solid Manager is responsible for collecting content for the newsletter.

On the first Friday of each month, the Solid Manager is responsible for submitting a pull request to create a new .md file in posts with the file name "(insert year)-(insert month)-(insert day)-this-month-in-solid.md".

The pull request needs to be reviewed by one of the Editors. The Editorial review must happen within 24 hours of the Solid Manager submitting the pull request. If the Editorial review of the draft newsletter does not happen within 24 hours, then the newsletter can be published without Editorial review.

The Editorial review must be green pen, not red pen edits i.e. edits cannot say that text is inadequate without actively stating what the text should become or that specific text should be removed completely. Red pen Editorial reviews can be ignored and the newsletter can be published.

Once reviewed, the Solid Manager is responsible for sending the newsletter using TinyLetter which is a Solid property.

The Solid Manager has Admin Permissions on 1Password for TinyLetter to be able to carry out their responsibilities.
