I thought this library would help me programmatically show lines added/removed/changed, and what the change was, but this data doesn't seem to be captured. I'd have to parse the Body and find the lines with prefixes of + or -, but that negates the purpose of using this library. Either I'm missing something or this is just a missing feature.

Yes you would have to do that yourself. Going finer grained than a hunk makes it not possible to apply the patch since you lose out on context. We won't add any features around that.
