while the SVL issue is unresolved we will steer users toward the ASB note - Serial Monitor must be closed while uploading with the ASB
this ensures that -DARDUINO={runtime.ide.version} is defined at the preprocessor step as well
sometimes Wire.begin is called multiple times in one sketch. the HAL does not appreciate this. so we block it
removes the secondary serial port from the example - there is currently a bug with the rx ISRs when two UART instances are begun. Need to look into this more
