Revisit date-time tests for compatibility with JDK 9 build 72 [SPR-13232]

Several of our date-time formatting tests fail on JDK 9 build 72 due to slightly different default output from the JDK date-time types. Let's fine-tune those tests to accept both the JDK 8 and the JDK 9 variant of the output.
