Default "soft" line instead of paragraph

Hi,
Great work on this.

I'm aware that "shift + enter" will create a "soft" new line. However, I would like this to (by default) create a new "soft" line.

How can this be configured?

I have looked at the code, there is actually a way to do it without changing the code. It is a little hacky. The trick is that there is handleReturn property (undocumented) that gets called first. There I modify the event to hide/reveal ctrl/alt/shift modifier keys:

Here is the method that does the flipping:

    let isSoftKeyPressed = (e) => {

        return e.which === 13 && (e.getModifierState("Shift") || e.getModifierState("Alt") || e.getModifierState("Control"));
    };

    if (!isSoftKeyPressed(event)) {

        event.getModifierState = (_) => {return true;};

    } else {

        event.getModifierState = (_) => {return false;}
    }
}

Not great, but does the trick. I can make the real change too, would be super easy if the author would want me to add a 'enableSoftNewLineByDefault' property, or something like that.
