I just noticed this change as well. I'm going to see how my discussion over here goes first: JuliaLang/julia@077c63a If we can revert that change, this will solve the problem for other distributions that serve up only the static libraries of SuiteSparse as well, which is better than handling it within our formula directly. |

If we repackage the system suitesparse libraries, we'll need to copy them during the install manually, as the default for USE_SYSTEM_SUITESPARSE=1 does not copy them.
