Passing a path returns incorrect git status

Fixes for 0.0.4 has broken passing a path to k:

k some/path/elsewhere

If you're outside a git repo, then it works as expected, however if you do it from inside a git repo the results are incorrect.

From a location that isn't a git repo (works properly)

From inside git repo
