Summary

This PR fixes formatting inheritance when creating a new line from styled text and refactors formatting-state resolution so the editor can distinguish:

  • direct inline formatting that should be persisted
  • effective formatting resolved through the OOXML style cascade
  • style-derived formatting that should affect UI/typing behavior but not be exported as direct formatting

What Changed

New-line inheritance and run wrapping

  • preserve the current run's runProperties on newly created empty paragraphs in:
    • splitBlock
    • split-run
  • update wrapTextInRunsPlugin to read formatting from the paragraph/run formatting state instead of copying the previous paragraph's last run
  • apply resolved marks for first-character visuals, but persist only explicit paragraph/run overrides into the new run node
  • remove the old sdStyleMarks handoff path now that formatting is derived directly from document state

Formatting-state helpers

  • expand getMarksFromSelection into a richer formatting-state API:
    • getSelectionFormattingState
    • getFormattingStateAtPos
    • getFormattingStateForRange
    • getInheritedRunProperties
  • resolve effective run properties through the style-engine cascade for both collapsed and non-empty selections
  • aggregate range formatting by intersecting shared properties rather than unioning arbitrary marks
  • use resolved formatting for toolbar/UI state while keeping direct inline formatting separate for commands and serialization
  • add fail-open handling when converter/style-resolution access is missing, malformed, or throws
  • restore cursor-mark fallback when a run wrapper has no explicit runProperties

Cascade-aware toggles

  • refactor toggleMarkCascade to rely entirely on formatting state instead of separate linked-style detection logic
  • distinguish:
    • direct marks
    • explicit negation marks
    • style-derived active formatting
  • simplify the command by removing the old style-detector and style-id traversal path

Empty paragraph sync

  • add dedicated helpers to keep paragraphProperties.runProperties in sync on empty paragraphs:
    • addParagraphRunProperty
    • removeParagraphRunProperty
  • preserve inherited properties such as styleId or italic when toggling a new mark on an empty split paragraph
  • remove only the targeted property when clearing formatting, including attribute-specific textStyle cases

Converter / encoding updates

  • update run-property mark encoding/decoding to round-trip styleId
  • use the shared decoder instead of custom style-id extraction logic

Related updates

  • update getActiveFormatting and format painter/copy-format code to use the new formatting-state-aware mark lookup
  • adjust tests and export assertions affected by the new run wrapping behavior

Why

Before this branch:

  • splitting a styled paragraph could lose inline run formatting on the new empty line
  • style-derived formatting could be mistaken for direct formatting and written back into exported runs
  • toolbar state, format painter, and cascade toggles did not have a reliable distinction between effective formatting and explicit inline formatting
  • malformed or partially initialized converter state could interrupt typing instead of degrading gracefully

This PR makes the editor behave more like Word for active formatting while preserving correct DOCX semantics on export.

Testing

Added or updated focused tests for:

  • formatting-state lookup
  • empty-paragraph sync behavior
  • cascade toggle behavior
  • run wrapping on typed text
  • non-empty selection cascade resolution
  • converter failure / fail-open behavior
  • styleId encode/decode round-tripping
