New maintained fork of this package #61
Description
Hey folks.
This package is abandoned, as the maintainer confirmed us by mail. The original author no longer works at The Next Web B.V.
A few weeks ago we have created a fork of this package, which we released to Packagist last week. We intend to maintain it long term.
Key differences include:
- Removed passgenerator storage driver, instead you can use a more flexible storage by using config / env values
- Removed obsolete code
- added Laravel 12 support
- added comprehensive docs and troubleshooting section for a common OpenSSL 3 problem
In the future, we intend to add more features & tests, update the package for new versions of Laravel and give back to the open source community. If you have any feature requests, please let us know in the issues of our forked repository.

It should be relatively straightforward to replace the package with ours.
