Agree, we clearly have major gaps in our validation with PulseAudio removed from all CI devices.

A link to a bug would be very nice in the git commit (to help understand the issue and later confirm whether the particular issue is fixed). But given this is critical for 1.8 release, ok with the change as-it-is as well. I'm assuming this goes beyond what we are already covering in thesofproject/linux#2888 ..?
