another attempt at travis dpl snap

Try again to fix snap stable & edge release errors. This time with aggressive debugging so won't need to merge before failures are detected (will need a local branch - status: ).

• fix channel: $RELEASE_SNAP_CHANNEL issue
• squash & revert debug commits
• push local branch iterative:snap-deploy to PR branch casperdcl:snap-deploy, and delete local branch
• continues fix snap stable & edge release errors #3209, minor comments #3173, major deploy tidy #3158 <- (re) fixes Snap stable channel not updating #3152
