why have no right-hand sidebar?

We'll have this as a future feature in 1.5 or 2.0.

Instead of using the side bar class you could just use:

.container-fluid > .sidebar-left {
  float: left;
  width: 220px;
}

.container-fluid > .sidebar-right {
  float: right;
  width: 220px;
}
