Make popover clickable?

It'd be nice if the popover didn't fade out when you hover our of the triggering element, that way you could have links or other stuff inside them and you will be able to click/interact with them. Maybe have an option to fade out when you hover out of the actual popover div ?

I would also appreciate this. A simple option for 'clickable' => true would be nice. I don't know how hard it would be to implement.

@JavierVD Popover extends Twipsy, which contains the code for the mousein/out behaviour. The change will not be trivial. Personally, I think it's too specific a case for the plugin to support. You should probably look to writing your own implementation of it and release it as a patch?

I'll try giving it a shot, I'm not very good at jQuery though :( just thought it'd be a nice addition since twitter already has a similar implementation for their hover cards.

Currently working on something right now where this would be infinitely useful and bootstrap-popover.js is so close to what I need, but just short of.

So i just pushed something i'm playing with to the 2.0-wip branch...

essentially the api would be:

$('.twipsy').twipsy({ placement: 'inside top' })

this would place the twipsy inside the triggering element, rather than in the body.

There are several challenges with this. The first is that the triggering element needs to be positioned with either relative, fixed, or absolute (so that the offsets are correct).

The next thing is @markdotto and I will have to revisit the way we are shuffling the tip away from the trigger element (as simply adding a margin in the css causes a slight break when you hover from the trigger to the tip.

The last thing is that the implementation will need to account for overriding styles - as the tip will now adopt it's parents styles.

Because of the above reasons, this may not make it into the final release. However, for now play with it, and see what you think.
