Simple change:
buttons-radio-optionalbehaves likebuttons-radioexcept it allows the user to deselect a chosen button.Basically, if you have two buttons in a
buttons-radiogroup, by usingbuttons-radio-optionalinstead you could have a 3rd state of neither button selected.
