Networking/Player: [Errno 32] Broken Pipe on Linux

If you try to send a message to the server, the player will crash or error out with a Broken Pipe error. Disabling firewalld does not solve this problem either. This was tested on Windows 11 and Fedora 40, where it worked fine on Windows but failed on Fedora.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start banker server.
2. Connect to banker through player.
3. Initiate a connection through either 'game' or 'ships'
4. This should trigger a Broken Pipe error.
