FocusOnTheFamily-Developer Exercise Setup Instructions

This project repository contains the ASP.NET MVC code plus the SQL scripts to run in order to setup the website project.

Steps needed are as follows:

• Pull the repository down to your local machine.
• Open the FocusOnTheFamily.sln solution file.
• In the Solution Explorer, find the main project (called FocusOnTheFamily) and drill down to the App_Data folder.
• Create a new database called “FocusOnTheFamily.mdf
• Open the database
• Open the {repositorydirectory}\SQL SCRIPTS\Initialize DB.sql and execute the scripts.
• Run the application

Things to note about the application. There is an admin tool (top right corner.) In here, you can modify the site by adding content/stories, modifying products, etc.
