since it'll just an API maybe we can slap together some boilerplate front-end that can serve as a base without much styling

Yeah for sure. I think we should get the API nicely working with the Duo or Khaos CLI to iron out the kinks and that'll probably tell us what kind of UI we want. But at least we'll want API docs, but maybe even that is on GitHub in .md files who knows

lazy generation will definitely screw us if we have to get specific with docs, but I feel like that'll pretty much never well with js / css anyway, dox-ish sort of works but not really. We could always support api.md and default to readme.md or similar
