I was wondering whether there’s any way to stop the autoplay after one time, right now it plays it in a loop.

There is no internal way of automatically stopping autoplay after a predetermined number of loops, whether it being one or five loops.

The idea of autoplay is that it continuously loops whilst in view, with manual buttons to pause and resume the loop cycle at the user's command, which takes the stress off of developers and users alike so not as much clicking is involved whilst viewing all events.

I currently have no plans to implement a function or option to allow the autoplay to stop after a certain number of loops, due to it conflicting with the sole purpose of autoplay.

However, a workaround to stop autoplay after 1 loop would be to set up a listener on the eventChanged DOM event and add an if statement to check for if the last event in the timeline is selected, then you could trigger a click on the pause button. After some testing, the trigger click doesn't currently work and spits out an error, I hope to patch this bug in the next release [v2.0.5.1]. Check out the codepen to view the workaround.

A workaround for [X] amount of loops can be done in similar fashion, but with a bit extra code. See the codepen.
