NOTES:

  1. Bench keyword indicates controlled by psyker players
  2. Machines keyword indicates automated
  3. Mechanite keyword indicates controlled and/or fueled by any pawn

Psychic Disassembler Bench (PDB)

  • Worker required to be a psyker
  • Any item with market value can be disassembled
  • Items are disassembled into "psychic goo" (PG) item

Psychic Assembly Machine )PAM)

  • PG is injected into machine
  • Player is given list to choose output thing
  • Chosen item is ejected onto the floor after X work

Psychic Weather Machine (PWM)

  • PG is injected into machine
  • Player is given a list of weather events to occur
  • Weather event remains as long as PG fuel is injected
  • Weather events cost different amounts of PG
  • PG cost goes up as event lasts longer

Psychic Mechanite Power Generator (PMPG)

  • Player is given a slider for how much power to output
  • Uses PMBs to generate power
  • PMPG must be adjacent to a PMB

Psychic Mechanite Battery (PMB)

  • PG is used to fuel battery (can be injected or hand-fueled)
  • PMB does not provide power directly
  • PMB must be adjacent to a PMPG

Psychic Mechanite Skipper (PMS)

  • Example usage: See resurrector mech serum
  • Player right clicks on skipper, clicks use
  • Player's cursor turns into a crosshair
  • Player clicks anywhere on the map
  • Player is teleported from their current location to the selected destination
  • PMS requires huge amount of PG and so requires an adjacent PMB

Psychic Mass Event Generator (PMEG_

  • Machine controlled by psyker
  • Only affects non-colonists and non-prisoners
  • Machine can cause mass psychic events
    • Mass berserk
    • Mass chaos skip
    • Mass stun
    • Mass fire extinguish

Brainstorming

  • Power generation using a Psyker to charge a battery at a psychic mechanite power generator.
  • Equivalent Exchange. Use psychic mechanites to convert items from one thing to another using a Psyker at a bench.
  • Weather manipulation (control fog, rain, thunder/lightning, toxic fallout, volcanic winter, tornados)
  • Pawn teleporters
  • Map-wide psychic powers (machine, controlled by a psyker, that can do things like mass-chaos skip, mass-berserk, etc)
  • New material to get rid of paperclips as well as X/Y/Z composites. (Psychic mechanite nematodes. Essentially midichlorians)
  • Psychic mechanite armor (Boost psychic ability threshold of psykers)

  • MASSIVE research sink. Treats spacer level research speed like it were Tribal
  • Psychic mechanite quantum linkable research computer. Improves research speed only for psyker researchers.

  • Psychic mechanite Batteries that have circuit breakers integrated
  • Construct psyker automaton (pawn that sits at psyker-needed benches to preform tasks only psykers can do)
