Focus jumps back to compose field after sending message then going to Chat Switcher

Likely related to #458 that @chiragsalian was working on, I didn't notice the issue before v.52. If I type a DM to someone and send it then cmd+k to open chat switch, when I try to type their name, the cursor auto-moves to the compose box for the user I sent my last message to. This either happens immediately or after I type one letter. The issue occurred on web and desktop. Here are two vids showing the issue.

Labeling MEDIUM but not adding to the milestone because this might not affect many people based on how they navigate chat.

If you test slowly by sending a message to someone then hitting cmd+k, the cursor will return to the compose box for the original message before you have a chance to type anything in the chat switcher box
