Action Performed:

1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
2. Go to self DM
3. Create an expense with negative amount
4. Open transaction thread
5. Go offline
6. Click Amount
7. Edit the amount and save it

Expected Result:

The old amount in the system message will show negative sign

Actual Result:

The old amount in the system message does not show negative sign
It shows negative sign after going online
