Action Performed:

1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
2. Go to workspace chat.
3. Create two manual expenses with receipt.
4. Open the expense report.
5. Open any expense.
6. Click Report field > Remove from report.
7. Go to Account > Troubleshoot > Clear cache and restart > Reset and refresh OR relogin.
8. Do not go to self DM.
9. Open workspace chat and open the expense report.
10. Click More > Merge.
11. Select the unreported expense with receipt from Step 6.
12. Click on the first receipt.
13. Click on the second receipt.

Expected Result:

The second receipt should be displayed without issue.

Actual Result:

The second receipt is blank and is not clickable once user selects the first receipt.

What is the root cause of that problem?

We’re getting the transaction from Onyx transaction collection to display in the review page

But if users reset cache, this transaction will be available only when they open the expense report or transaction report, that why we can see the blank receipt

What changes do you think we should make in order to solve the problem?

In MergeTransactionsListPage, we can see that transaction because we get it from mergeTransaction collection

so we should use the same approach. Update this line to

We can do the same in DetailsReviewPage, ConfirmationPage, …
