Action Performed:

  1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
  2. Go to workspace chat.
  3. Create two expenses.
  4. Go to Reports > Expenses.
  5. Select both expenses via checkbox.
  6. Go offline.
  7. Click dropdown button > Merge.
  8. Select the amount from the second expense row on Reports > Expenses (IMPORTANT).
  9. Select any other detail > Continue.
  10. Click Merge expenses.

Expected Result:

  • Amount of the merged expense will not show negative sign.
  • Submit button will appear on the expense row.

Actual Result:

  • Amount of the merged expense shows negative sign after merging offline.
  • Submit button does not appear on the expense row.
