1. Go to self DM.
2. Create an expense in default currency.
3. Go to workspace chat.
4. Create an expense in default currency.
5. Go to self DM and open the expense.
6. Click More > Merge.
7. Select workspace expense > Continue.
8. Select all the details from workspace expense (the second option for each detail).
9. Click Next.
10. Verify that the converted amount doesn't appear

Precondition:

• Set workspace default currency to USD.

1. Go to workspace chat.
2. Create an expense with amount AUD 100.00.
3. Create another expense with amount EUR 500.00.
4. Open the expense report.
5. Open both expenses and remember the converted amount.
6. AUD 100.00 → $67.08.
7. EUR 500.00 → $583.37
8. Select the first expense (AUD 100.00) via checkbox.
9. Click dropdown button > Merge.
10. Select the other expense (EUR 500.00) > Continue.
11. Select amount EUR 500.00.
12. Click Next.
13. Verify that the converted amount doesn't appear

  • I verified proper file naming conventions were followed for any new files or renamed files. All non-platform specific files are named after what they export and are not named "index.js". All platform-specific files are named for the platform the code supports as outlined in the README.
  • I verified the JSDocs style guidelines (in STYLE.md) were followed
• If a new code pattern is added I verified it was agreed to be used by multiple Expensify engineers
• I followed the guidelines as stated in the Review Guidelines
• I tested other components that can be impacted by my changes (i.e. if the PR modifies a shared library or component like Avatar, I verified the components using Avatar are working as expected)
