Based off feedback from usability testing, I've created a mockup for how the selecting metadata blocks should be displayed within the Create Dataverse page. Am attaching a mockup for the Create Dataverse page that includes selecting metadata blocks. I showed this mockup to Mike and he approved of it.
Additional Notes:
-Currently, when a user clicks on Setup in the Edit Dataverse drop down and they haven’t picked domain specific metadata, they reach a screen that has two lines of text and checkboxes. Users didn’t know what that meant and if there was content behind it. I’m proposing getting rid of that and instead, a user would see the available domain specific metadata sets, and whichever the parent Dataverse had chosen, would be checked. Since it’s clear what is checked and what isn’t (currently in 4.0, that is not the case), I don’t think this will be a usability issue.
-Choosing facets would happen after this and remain in the Edit Dataverse drop down menu.
