FastLogin already begins ignoring new players, but it only ignores them. Other plugins will still process them. As you can see LuckPerms starts to throw exceptions, because their queue is full.

FastLogin isn't an anti bot solution. Although it has a configuration setting for ignoring players, it's only because of the additional load on database servers which could be bigger than other plugins.
