Description
Background
A user reported an error during a computational run, partly due to invisible Unicode characters in the input file causing file read errors. This type of problem is difficult for users to troubleshoot.
Describe the solution you'd like
I plan to add a function to check for non-ASCII characters when reading input and struct files.
