I explicitly didn't want to hard code information as

• the bot could in theory be used for any repo (it's e.g. used here as well)
• hard-coded information gets outdated quickly
• I wanted to add caching to the API methods soon anyways (e.g. Move GitHub API code to separate module #85)

Some things that can help to speed things up:

• smaller, focused PRs are easier to review than big ones

• try not to mix up refactoring or style changes with bug fixes or feature enhancements

• provide helpful commit messages explaining the rationale behind each change

Bear in mind that large or tricky changes may require multiple rounds of review and revision.
